Ingredients
- 4 stalks asparagus
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1 salt
- 1 pepper
- 1 lemon
- 1 baguette
Instructions
- Roast 4 stalks of asparagus in a pan till suitably charred on all sides.
- Finish off by splashing some water, and covering the pan on a low flame to steam the stalks.
- Mix 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon.
- Cut a baguette into the same length as the asparagus stalks. Slice in half and lightly toast.
- Butter both slices, and spread the cottage cheese spread on one side.
- Place the asparagus stalks on top of the spread and firmly close the sandwich with the other slice.
